Dr. Jake Shapiro earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. During his studies, he was an active member of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) and the Digital Dentistry Club. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Shapiro completed his General Practice Residency at the Manhattan Veterans Affairs Medical Center, in which he became proficient in cosmetic, restorative, implant, and digital dentistry. Before dental school, Dr. Jake Shapiro attended Washington University in St. Louis, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering – Applied Science with a double minor in Anthropology and Mathematics. He also was a Varsity Athlete for the Soccer team at WashU, where he earned All-Conference Academic honors. Dr. Shapiro lives in Manhattan with his lovely wife, Eliane. In his spare time, he loves to play soccer, basketball, tennis, and golf, as well as snowboard, run, and spend time with his family and friends.
