Kathleen Nguyen, DDS

About Dr. Nguyen

Dr. Kathleen Nguyen is an experienced Doctor of Dental Surgery from our Astoria office who specializes in pediatric dentistry.

Dr. Nguyen received her undergraduate degree from UC Irvine and her DDS from the UCLA School of Dentistry, where she earned the Section of Pediatric Dentistry Senior Award. While at UCLA, she served as the Internal Affairs Coordinator of the Dental Education Outreach program and Director of Community Outreach and Oral Health Pediatric & Teen Committee Chair for the UCLA American Student Dental Association. Honing her focus on pediatric dentistry, she also served as the External Affairs Director of the Inglewood Children’s Dental Center and President of the Student Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She worked as a research assistant and investigator for research publications on pediatric dentistry and parental and child behavior in dental settings.

Prior to joining ProHEALTH Dental, Dr. Nguyen was Chief Resident at UCLA Pediatric Dentistry and a Resident Doctor with the UCLA Pediatric Orthodontic Clinic, UCLA Craniofacial Team, and South Central Family Health Center.
