Bio
Dr Harry Campbell began his academic journey to general dentistry at the University of Florida where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Cell Science.
During the pursuit of a science-driven career, Dr Campbell was recruited by CuraGen Corporation, a biotech company dedicated to improving the lives of patients by developing novel pharmaceutical products to aid in the fight against cancer. As a research associate, he performed DNA sequencing for human genome mapping to aid in clinical effectiveness for newly researched pharmaceutical products designed to work at the molecular level. Dr Campbell earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Meharry Medical College of Dentistry in Nashville, Tennessee.
After earning his doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2002, he was accepted to participate in a postgraduate General Practice Residency at Coler-Goldwater hospital in New York City. Dr Campbell's performance as a first year resident resulted in being elected and voted to be Chief resident for second year for a dual program at Methodist Hospital in Park Slope Brooklyn and Bellevue Hospital Manhattan from 2003 to 2004.
As a cosmetic dentist with cumulative years of clinical experience, continual education, and clinical skill derived from years of practicing in a very diverse metropolitan setting, Dr Campbell truly believes it is both an honor and a privilege to provide conscientious, judicious use of current best evidence to deliver the best care to each individual patient in a cutting edge, high tech, comfortable, modern practice. Each patient brings to the practice his or her own personal preference, unique concerns, and expectations.
Certified in Tip Edge Orthodontics, active member of the New York County Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association. Additionally when Dr Campbell is not in the office he may be found golfing, scuba diving, or pursuing his love of travel in his spare time.
