About Dr. Kuang

Dr. Anna Kuang received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry. While attending dentistry school, she completed a variety of assistant positions that brought her a range of valuable insights. As a Research Assistant in the Biomaterials & Biomimetics Department at the NYU College of Dentistry, she studied bone healing patterns and helped to analyze new bone formation along the perimeter of implants. As she continued to advance, during her final year in dentistry school, she completed another assistant position as a Prosthodontics Teaching Assistant. This gave her the opportunity to mentor second year dental students and prepare them for the clinical board licensing examination. As a General Practice Resident at the Flushing Medical Center, she took on a great amount of responsibility at the front lines of COVID-19, screening COVID-19 patients and managing dental emergencies. It was here that she gained valuable experience working with patients from all walks of life and demonstrated true leadership in the field of dentistry. Not only is she dedicated to providing quality patient care, but she has also shown immense compassion and strength as a Dentist Assistant Volunteer through the VIDA to Guatemala Dental Outreach program. Since joining our team, Dr. Kuang has been committed to providing each and every patient with the utmost of care and comfort through positive dental experiences.
